How We Support a Multi-Day Secondary School Sports Event in Liverpool

Over the past 4–5 years, we’ve had the pleasure of supplying inflatables and fun equipment for a large secondary school sports event held in Crosby, Liverpool. The event takes place over several days during the final weeks of term before the summer holidays and has become a key part of the school’s annual sports day programme.

Because we’ve supported this event for so many years, we have a strong working relationship with the school staff and a clear understanding of how the event runs, which helps everything operate smoothly each year.


A Multi-Day End-of-Term School Event

The event typically runs across four days, usually from Tuesday to Friday. Each day, a different year group takes part in the activities, allowing the school to give every student a turn while keeping the event well organised and manageable.

The activities run from around 9:00am until lunchtime (approximately 12:30pm), making it an ideal way to add excitement and variety to traditional sports day schedules.

Early Morning Delivery & Setup

Because this is a working school environment, timing and logistics are crucial.

We typically arrive early in the morning between 7:00am and 7:30am, allowing us to deliver and fully set up the equipment before students and staff begin arriving around 8:15am–8:30am. This avoids congestion with buses, staff parking, and student access routes.

By the time the school day begins, everything is safely installed, tested, and ready to go.


Safety, Layout & Experience Matter

Supplying the same event year after year means we understand the site in detail, including:

  • Where students access the field

  • The safest routes for power cables, keeping them out of walkways

  • The best positioning for inflatables to keep fans secure and close to power sources

  • How to space equipment to allow good flow between activities

This experience significantly reduces risk and helps the event run efficiently and safely for both staff and students.

Daily Collection or Secure Overnight Storage

At the end of each day, once the activities finish around lunchtime, we return to site to pack everything away. Depending on the school’s preference and space available, equipment is either:

  • Securely stored on-site for the following day, or

  • Loaded back onto our vehicles and re-delivered the next morning

This flexible approach helps schools manage space while keeping the event running smoothly across multiple days.
