FAQs – Inflatable Obstacle Course Hire

Can inflatable obstacle courses be set up on any outdoor surface?

Most inflatables are designed to be set up on real grass, so they can be safely anchored with stakes. On hard surfaces like concrete, we may be able to secure them using a ‘drill and bolt’ method with proper fixings. Alternatively, if you can provide enough heavy ballast — for example, weighted pallets, water bowsers or fixed objects like HGV wheels — we can safely anchor the inflatable that way. (Please note: pallets must be weighted, not empty.)

Important: For events on hard-standing surfaces, please contact us by email or phone before booking to confirm that we can safely cover your event. A site visit may be required.

Do I need more than one power socket?

Yes. Each inflatable obstacle course section usually has its own electric fan, so each fan needs a working 13amp or 16amp socket. For example, a three-piece obstacle course will require three sockets in total to fully inflate and operate all sections.

Can we use obstacle courses for a colour run or body paint event?

Unfortunately, we cannot hire our inflatables for colour runs or events involving body paint. Substances like paint or powder can permanently stain or damage the equipment, which could result in cleaning, repair, or replacement costs.
