Rodeo Bull Hire Manchester – Why We No Longer Offer Rodeo Bulls & Simulators
For over 15 years, SJ’s Leisure supplied rodeo bulls and simulator rides across Manchester and the North West for birthdays, corporate events, university socials, weddings, festivals, themed parties, Christmas events, school fun days and large public events.
Over the years, we have delivered rodeo bulls and simulator rides to venues throughout Manchester and Greater Manchester, working with everyone from private customers and student unions to schools, hotels, businesses and major event organisers. However, after careful consideration, we made the decision to stop directly offering rodeo bulls and simulator rides.
Why Did We Stop Offering Rodeo Bulls & Simulators?
Quite simply, the cost of supplying these attractions to the standards we believe customers deserve has increased significantly over the years.
Staffing costs, transport, fuel, maintenance, repairs, annual testing, insurance and compliance requirements have all risen substantially. Rodeo bulls and simulators are mechanically operated attractions involving moving parts and a greater level of operational responsibility, meaning the costs to supply them safely, professionally and fully compliant have become increasingly high.
When supplied properly and above board — including staffing, insurance, tax, testing, maintenance and transport — a quality rodeo bull or simulator hire in 2026 can realistically cost £600+ for a 3-hour hire, often before delivery costs are added.
For many customers and event organisers, these costs can make rodeo bulls and simulators difficult to justify unless they are a major feature of the event. We found that many customers could still achieve the same level of fun, interaction and entertainment through alternative attractions that are more budget-friendly while still creating a memorable experience.
